NetToGross.com is a free payroll calculator. This page explains what happens to information when you use it. It is written to be short and accurate rather than exhaustive.
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Salary figures, tax rates and any other numbers you type are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to us or stored on any server. We have no account system, no login, and no database of user submissions. If you close the tab, the numbers are gone.
Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs: IP address, browser type, referring page, and the pages requested. We use aggregate traffic analytics to understand which pages are used. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
We display advertising served by Google AdSense and may participate in affiliate programs. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent notice before personalised advertising cookies are set, in line with Google's EU user consent policy.
Some outbound links to payroll software providers are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. These links are marked as sponsored. Commission does not influence what the calculator outputs.
This site is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
You can block cookies in your browser settings and continue to use the calculator normally — it does not depend on cookies to function. If you are a California or EEA resident and wish to make a data request, contact us at the address below; because we hold no personal records, most requests can be answered immediately.
